No preparation is necessary. The activity starts with a simple group discussion prompt, and participants can easily scan the provided QR code to join.
That’s completely fine. Participants can choose to either record their story verbally or write it out. The format is flexible, and no one is pressured to share in front of a group - the activity is about reflection, not performance.
The activity naturally encourages connection by asking participants to focus on the inspiring actions of others. It shifts the conversation from individual accomplishments to recognising collective achievements, which strengthens team unity and builds trust.
The stories can become an ongoing resource for your organisation. They can be signposted in newsletters, team meetings, or on your website. Sharing these positive stories continues to reinforce a culture of recognition and community.
Definitely! Many organisations choose to host regular Hopeful Hacks, whether quarterly or annually, to maintain a culture of positivity and connection. It’s a great way to continually refresh your team’s mindset and reinforce community-building efforts.
