My friend Ian Ray ran 2024 km last year and raised over £20,024 for Prevent Breast Cancer.
Shortly after his wife Cath had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and had her first stage of a double Mastectomy, he embarked on a challenge beyond his expectations of fundraising and stamina. A focus creates a fantastic momentum of belief and that belief becomes infectious. Other were inspired to raise funds too.
Ian’s wife was given the ‘all clear’ just before Christmas and the double Mastectomy is complete and she’s recovering.
