In 2019 everything appeared to start to change. I’d found a tribe of planet-conscious people who had started a buying club for ethical food and other products.
Shipped over in bulk and then distributed, reducing landfill and changing people’s shopping habits. They fast became the eco community of Macclesfield.
Since then, Scoop and Scales has set up a successful refill shop and has been a catalyst for many others to make choices of their time to help make a bigger difference in how the community lives.
