Joshua's Vision of African Practical Wisdom

My story of hope is about Joshua, who I met a few weeks ago in Eco Village. He's well known in the global Eco Village network and has a unique perspective on self-determination, supporting empowerment in young people by adopting what he calls African practical wisdom. Originally from Cameroon, he set up the Bao Eco Village with the purpose of supporting young people who he saw had very little direction. He excels in regenerative leadership, reminding people that indigenous knowledge and wisdom have always existed. While it's important to embrace science, permaculture, and various Western practices, it's not at the expense of existing wisdom. When combined, it's very powerful.
