The Jobtech Alliance started working with a few platforms on gender-specific strategies and highlighting the importance of inclusion of women in their strategies of these three startup companies.
The result was that they understood the barriers that were keeping women from joining, and they also started to understand that actually women were higher earners and had higher engagement on the platforms.
So, the early results show that these particular platforms may be engaging more with women, and women are better earners and more engaged participants than men on these platforms.
