The art academy is my hopeful story this month. I was at an event in their extraordinary space on the South Bank in London, which has recently opened, and was blown away by all the creative vision and potential of this place. The Art Academy is an art education charity passionate about championing art for all, and I think this inclusive culture is inspiring something unique and important. They also have community outreach programmes to help make art education accessible in the surrounding area and have helped train over 20,000 people across different courses. And I'm excited by what this new space behind the Tate Modern will open up for emerging artists. Special shout-out to Principal Rob Pepper, whose courage and vision was a huge part in bringing this new creative space into being.
